Wilderness camp

Be transported up in to the woods and spend the first part of your evening around the camp fire with a welcome drink and then into a yurt for a traditional savoyard meal. After this jump on a sledge and take a ride down through the starlit mountains. Something different and something unique - the wilderness night is a good way to escape the village and head out for the evening and spend your night at the secret location in the woods.

The Wilderness camp is great for any groups, they normally run two nights a week and everything from transfers, the activity and the accommodation is included in the price as well as the evening meal and complimentary drinks.

You start the adventure by being picked up from Val d'Isère and bussed over to Tigne 1800 where there is a track, which takes you up to the trees. From here you will be able to see the rustic yurt camp where you will be spending your night. It will make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. As you arrive you will be handed a complimentary drink. At the camp there is a huge campfire, which will be lit up for when you arrive. The camp is decorated in a traditional way, covered in beautiful fur rugs and huge cosy cushions.

When you have arrived and settled you can cosy up around the campfire with your welcome drink, appreciating the surroundings and look up at the starry night sky. You will then be welcomed inside to enjoy a Savoyard meal. You will be served a cheese fondue with charcuterie, salad and potatoes. There is an option of a Hog Roast/BBQ but you have to requested this when booking as it requires certain numbers of people and only available at certain times.

After you have filled yourself up on meat and cheese you are then served a delicious dessert followed by tea or coffee. Once your food has settled you are then treated to a few of the local genepi shots to help digest your food.

The last part of the Wilderness experience is a starlit 3km toboggan run down through the mountains in to Tigne Les Brévières, where you a bus will be waiting to take you back to Val d'Isère.
