This hike links 5 municipalities and two national parks.
The two natural parks of Vanoise and Grand Paradis have always been linked by their history, their culture and their lush nature.
This 116 km long course is preserving the landscape and natural heritage. Indeed, this trek aims to highlight all the richness offered by the two national parks, their vegetation as well as the fauna which characterizes this alpine landscape.
The 5 municipalities (Val d'Isère, Bonneval-sur-Arc, Ceresole-Reale (IT), Valsavarenche (IT) and Rhêmes-Notre-Dame (IT)) crossed by this hike have joined together in order to carry out work to reorganize the trails while preserving the existing natural heritage and reducing the impact on the environment as much as possible. The creation of an attitude focusing on ‘leave it as you found it’ has been adopted by hikers and runners always with the aim of protecting the environment.
The full of the Grand Paradis - Vanoise nature trek lasts an average of 5-6 days. Its route takes you through the predominantly high peaks of Haute Tarentaise, Haute Maurienne and the Aosta Valley.
